Sing Hwee is an experienced HR professional with 15 years’ experience in both generalist and specialist capacity. Having worked in the corporate and consulting arena, she has demonstrated ability to serve on leadership teams as well as contribute to business strategy through commercial and strong business knowledge, influencing senior managers and implementing high-impact HR initiatives at the local and regional level.

Over a span of 10 years in British American Tobacco (BAT), she has held various generalist and specialist roles. As the Head of HR of (BAT) Singapore, she was a strategic HR advisor to the senior leadership team, responsible for developing a coherent and people-oriented HR agenda that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasised empowerment, quality, productivity and standards.

The focus of Sing Hwee’s consulting experience has been around helping senior managers shape its strategic and people leadership agendas, providing advice to business partners on identifying, managing and developing leaders and talent within organisations.

Sing Hwee is currently actively involved in career transition coaching, where she provides guidance to management of all levels to clarify short term and long-term career goals, and coach them in the area of career transition, equipping them with the skills and confidence to embark on a successful job search campaign.

As a certified Administrator in DDI’s Targeted Selection®, Facilitator in DDI’s and Achieve Global’s leadership training systems, and certified Assessor for Executive and Leadership Assessment Systems including the SHL suite of Occupational Tests and Occupational Personality Questionnaire and The Leadership Circle®, she is well positioned to provide advice to her business partners on identifying, managing and developing leaders and talent within organisations.

​Sing Hwee graduated from the Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) with a Bachelor of Business Studies, majoring in Human Resources. She is married with two young daughters and is currently pursuing her MBA with Manchester Business School.
